Elliot

Well… I had to do it. Here he is, “Elliot” the eagle. When naming this one, I was kind of stumped. Even J had a hard time thinking of something suitable. I liked Liberty but felt that was a girl name and this is so obviously a boy (I mean, obviously.) 
But apparently, Elliot means strength. And I think he looks strong. And fierce. And that’s what America has always been and will continue to strive to be. 
It feels like a tumultuous season in our country’s history… but I believe that our best days lay ahead. Our days of strength and vigor and bravery. And hopefully, Elliot will serve as a reminder of that always.
